Apple Plum Orange and Date Crumble

Ever since the weather became unbearable I've been having constant craving for sweets, pies and crumbles in particular. I've been haunted by one really. When the craving starts, there is no way I can control myself. There is no force that can stop me from going to the shop to get the necessary ingredients. It's just stronger than me. Well, what can you do? I'll just have to live with that.

How to make the crumble:
Peel 4 apples and a dozen of plums
Fry them for approx. 10 mins with a spoonful of butter, 80grams of sugar and zest and juice of 1 orange.
After 10 mins, add a handful of dates and fry for the next 5 mins.
Preheat the oven for 180C.

For the crust you will need:
100grams flour
100grams oats
125grams cold butter
100grams sugar
In a bowl rub the ingredients with you fingertips to make the topping mixture.
Put the softened fruit into an ovenproof dish and cover with the crumble topping.
Bake for 25-35 mins until golden.
ENJOY!
