What's for dinner - Pasta with spinach

The fewer the better. Recently, we have been cooking according to this rule. I never thought a meal consisting of three or four ingredients can be this good. I have always cooked pasta with sauce, full of veggies, herbs and spices. We've changed it completely. Our no1 pasta is tagliatelle with fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and garlic only (no need to cook anything except for pasta), if you can't imagine how good it can be, just try it yourself. You can use this recipe only without prosciutto and peas.
A few days ago we felt the need to change it slightly so we added fresh spinach and wow, this dish has become my new food addiction.

What you need

pasta
fresh spinach
cherry tomatoes
mozzarella
garlic

parmesan
olive oil

What to do

Prepare pasta according to the instructions.
In s small bowl or a glass mix 6 tbsp olive oil and 1 or 2 pressed cloves of garlic.
In a pan fry the cherry tomatoes for 1 minute only with a tablespoon of olive oil. Some of them were cut in half.
Now add the spinach and leave for another minute, it should stay a little crispy.
 That's it.

Serve with parmesan and sprinkle with garlic and olive oil.

yeah, we love garlic
after dinner chillout with our not-so-tiny-anymore puppy

Star Wars Bathroom Tiles

Well this looks exactly like the bathroom I never knew I wanted. This is definitely an idea for our future house. Tiles with Star Wars characters are going to look fantastic in the small bathroom just beside the gaming/cinema room ;)

Weekend in pictures

The moment spring knocks on the door, days somehow become shorter and we seem to be constantly out of time. It means that when the weekend comes and the weather is just fantastic we wish the day lasted 40 hours, it's just so nice. Your sofa suddenly seems so uncomfortable to sit on, your bike just screams to be fixed and  you find the spring jacket you'd been looking for for so long.
Our weekend was great, we had a guest, we visited our good friends, ate some great food, worked on our brand new video and cooked. Here are just a few pics we took with our phones.

And how was your weekend?

And this is happening tonight...we can't wait

Best carrot cupcakes ever

When you're feeling down, when not everything goes according to your plan, when you're just having one of those gloomy days...the best thing to do is bake something sweet, make a big cup of hot tea and wait for the one you love to come back home, give you a hug and say that everything will be ok.

What you need

1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 tbsp cinnamon
0,5 tbsp baking powder
0,5 tbsp baking soda
2 cups grated carrots + 1 cup grated apple
0,5 cup oil
vanilla sugar or extract

Mix eggs with sugar until fluffy, add flour, baking powder and soda, grated carrots and apple.

Bake in 180C for 30mins.

I had no time to make fancy cream cheese frosting so I decided to go with the simple icing.

You need 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar and a drop of lemon juice, it should be quite thick.
