We woke up on Sunday desperate to go on a short trip away from the city. We are lucky to have a friend whose family has a house in Ojców, a lovely, tiny town 20km from Krakow. So, we went to visit him, took a short walk in the woods, walked barefeet across the freezing stream, ate some ice cream, admired the beautiful views and relaxed all the way. It was just lovely, exactly what we needed.
After we came back, I made sweet cherry pie.
It may not look so pretty but it was really tasty.
